Abstract : This is a web-portal known as F.C.S - Fr. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology Campus Service. This paper
illustrates the need of web-enabled, automated system(s) and how it helps, especially office administration, students, and
department faculty on the whole the various sections in the institute‟s campus. The paper also illustrates integrating the
institute‟s student- o r i e n t e d services together to make an all-in-one admin web portal.
In metro cities like Mumbai, local trains are not only integral but essential part of their life. Students too are part of this. So
(below the age of 25 years) they are given concession pass from the Mumbai Suburban Railway. Colleges under the
jurisdiction of Mumbai Suburban Railway - Western, Central, Harbour, Trans-Harbour, etc. provide railway Concession to
the students. This process is done manually (pen and paper) and has the issues of crowd gathering, file management, notice,
applications processing time. The system aims to provide to relief to the students as well as the concerned administration
staff(s) by improving the efficiency and smoothness of the process.
