Abstract : Through examining legal innovation pertaining to the resolution of intrusions in conserved forests, this scholarly study analyzes the problem of encroachment in limited forests and makes suggestions for potential solutions. The purpose of this proposal is to make suggestions for the revision of legislation and policies regarding the encroachment on protected forests.Addressing the causes of encroachment on forest reserves in each country could lead to the way of decreasing the illegal occupation of protected forests and conserve them. Several countries utilize legal innovation to detect intruders and surveil tree stands such as EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation). The regulation tends to support partner countries to transition to sustainable, deforestation-free, and legal agricultural value chains. Collaborative effort of European Commission and EU Member States including Germany, the Netherlands and France, with an initial package of €70 million in funding to implement the Initiative.
