Abstract : This paper examined the Knowledge and Accessibility among academics on Online Databases Subscribed to by University Libraries in Katsina State. Objectives of the study were to find out the extent of academics knowledge about the online subscribed databases, access points of online subscribed databases by academics and how academics search and obtains downloads from online subscribed databases in the university libraries in Katsina state. Survey research method was used and the instrument used for data collection was questionnaire. Ninety nine (99) copies of questionnaire were distributed to respondents in which a total of eighty five (85) copies were duly completed and found usable. Responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings revealed that most academics were aware of the online databases subscribed, majority of the academics access online databases in their Offices and mostly search by themselves. It is therefore, recommended that management of the libraries should introduce user education and training opportunities aimed at improving the accessibility of online subscribed databases among academics in the university libraries in Katsina state.
